 We need PAN card for many types of work.  If you need a PAN card immediately and you haven't created one yet, don't worry.  You can create your e-PAN card online in no time.  You do not need to fill out a form for this.  You can create PAN card only by Aadhaar number.  Under this Aadhaar based e-KYC immediately declares PAN (Permanent Account Number).

 A valid Aadhaar card can get a PAN card in less than ten minutes.  This is a free feature.  You have to apply for PAN card from the income tax website.  All you have to do is enter a 12-digit Aadhaar number to apply for e-PAN.

 However, this requires a link to the mobile number support.

 Let us know what the process is.

 Step 1. Go to the e-filing website of Income TaxDepartment www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.

 Step 2. Go to 'Quick Links' section on the home page and click on 'Instant PAN through Aadhaar'.

 Step 3. Then click on the link ‘Get New PAN’.  Which will take you to an instant page request.

 Step 4. Now enter your base number and confirm by typing the captcha code.

 Step 5. Then click on 'Generate Aadhar OTP'.  You will then receive an OTP on the registered mobile.

 Step 6. Enter the OTP in the text box and click on 'Validate Aadhaar OTP'.  Then click on the ‘Continue’ button.

 Step 7. You will now be redirected to the Page Request Submission page.  Here you have to confirm your support details and accept the terms and conditions.

 Step 8. Then click on 'Submit PAN Request'.

 Step 9. Now the enrollment number will be generated.  Take note of it.

 Download Pan Card in this way

 Go to the 'Quick Links' section on the homepage of the Income Tax Department's e-filing website and click on 'Instant PAN through Aadhaar'.  Then click on 'Check Status / Download Pen'.  Here you can check the status of your PAN card by entering the Aadhaar number and captcha code and also download.
