Notification Government of Gujarat Home Department, Secretariat, Gandhinagar Dt. 01/09/2020 For the purpose of controlling the effects of coVID-19 across the country, all services except essential services for 21 days from the resolution of the Union Home Ministry under the powers vested in The Disaster Management Act, 2005.
Thereafter, some activities are extended in phases till the order of the Union Home Ministry from time to time. The lock-down period has been extended to the Union Home Ministry as per the directions of the National Disaster Management Authority, and orders have been issued to continue the prescribed activities in areas other than the containment zone as per the guidelines.

Therefore, as per the order of the Union Home Ministry, the period of Lockdown is extended in the circulated containment zones across the state and it is decided to continue the prescribed activities in the areas other than the containment zones as per the guidelines of the Central Government. No State shall declare Lockdown at the local level in areas other than the Containment Zone at the local level (District / Subdivision / City) without prior consultation with the Central Government. So if there is a need for lockdown at the local level, a detailed proposal will have to be sent to the Home Department of the State Government for the prior approval of the Central Government. Lockdown can be declared at the local level only after getting the approval of the central government. Is. Schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutes in the state will remain closed. But the following activities can be continued. Online and distance learning can be continued. Academic and non-academic staff in educational institutions in the state can be called for online education / Tele Counseling. In this regard, the soP issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will have to be strictly followed. According to the SOP issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, students studying in Std. Skill Development Training Institutes can be started in accordance with the SOP issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Technical & Professional programs for Ph.D. & Other Post Graduates 3 Hi Lab or Experimental works will be decided by the Department of Higher Education in consultation with the Ministry of Home Affairs. . Social, educational, sports, recreation, cultural activities, religious, political ceremonies and other congregations are allowed to gather within the limits of persons.
